Honorary Life Memberships are considered at each AGM. This year no nominations had been received.
Any Other Business included the following matters:-
a)The poor state of the toilets at the Bell function suite where the club meets.
b)Organising a Social event during the summer.
c)The use of "You Tube" to promote the club’s activities.
d)The club’s appearance at Leigh Regatta. Mick Geraghty had suggested it might not be a good idea as it might attract the wrong type of people to the club, but he withdrew his concern when it was explained that it was not being used as a recruitment drive.
e)Competition Judges score sheets to be redesigned to clarify what is being judged.
f)Club Nights to be used for members to "dry-run" their acts for helpful comments.
The committee readily agreed to look into all these matters and report back to the members at the earliest opportunity.
