The outgoing committee officers' reports were accepted on the proposal of Mick Geraghty, seconded by Terry Evans.

Election of Officers.

Adrian Fox, Richard Graham and Wally Heddon from the outgoing Committee were willing to stand for re-election, but Dean Cadywould, due to family reasons, was standing down as Vice President.

Leon Rye indicated his willingness to fill the vacant position and as a ret, the 2010/2011 Committee, as proposed by Ray Simkins and seconded by Mick Geraghty will be:

President:   Adrian Fox                              Vice-President:   Leon Rye

Secretary:   Richard Graham                      Treasurer:   Wally Heddon

It was proposed by the new committee that Membership Fees remain unchanged - proposed by Terry Evans, seconded by Ray Simkins.

Honorary Life Memberships are considered at each AGM. This year no nominations had been received.

Any Other Business included the following matters:-

a)      The poor state of the toilets at the Bell function suite where the club meets.

b)      Organising a Social event during the summer.

c)      The use of "You Tube" to promote the club’s activities.

d)      The club’s appearance at Leigh Regatta. Mick Geraghty had suggested it might not be a good idea as it might attract the wrong type of people to the club, but he withdrew his concern when it was explained that it was not being used as a recruitment drive.

e)      Competition Judges score sheets to be redesigned to clarify what is being judged.

f)       Club Nights to be used for members to "dry-run" their acts for helpful comments.

The committee readily agreed to look into all these matters and report back to the members at the earliest opportunity.

The meeting closed at 9:05pm.
