This was our third visit to the club – back by popular demand! But it was a little disappointing in terms of audience turn out. In fact we had more magicians there than audience members!
In the end just 4 tables (of which one was occupied by our own people!) were royally entertained by a number of our close-uppers; and then three stage acts which included Adrian performing Mutilated Parasols, comedy funnel and milk jug; Lee with his mentalism act which included an alternate reality effect using pre-colour coded chairs and audience members who were able at random to pick an envelope and sit in any chair, only to have everything match; and Oliver who presented his fast moving stage competition winning act, which includes a number of lovely effects. It was both Lee and Ollie’s first time out on stage for the club, so well done to both of them for putting on such a great show – it’s just a shame there weren’t more people there to see it! Thanks to all who were involved in putting this show on.
