4th December - Annual Christmas Fun Night

Our last meeting was the club’s annual Christmas Fun Night where the committee stage a variety of quizzes and challenges for teams to have a go at. Unfortunately a number of our members and their guests couldn’t be with us due to other commitments, but we still had four sizeable teams battling it out to try and take the winner’s title.

Amongst other activities, there was a memory round, bagatelle, a timed ball maze to complete, a music round, backwards celebrity voices to identify (very hard!); and marathon rounds including product logos to identify, landmarks to place in their correct countries, anagrams to sort out, and clues to words beginning with ‘q’ to solve.

After much Christmas card swapping and mince pie eating, the evening, which everyone present seemed to enjoy, ended with the various scores being added up to decide a winning team. Richard Graham’s team were declared the overall winners this year, but all the teams were awarded some sweets to share as prizes for their efforts.

So the final meeting of the year ended with the very best of Christmas wishes for all our members.
