Club Show - 24th April - Stanford Le Hope Cricket Club

The club performed at Stanford Le Hope Cricket club for the second time on 24th April - back by popular demand the posters said!!

In the end there were 9 tables available but only 6 of these were occupied, so our close uppers were able to spread themselves out a little. Thanks to all who took part including Ray Simkins, Robbie Wood, Ryan Sholem, James Holdsworth, Rob Newson, Mike Davis, Wally the Wiz and Adrian Fox. Apolgies if I've missed anyone - Richard Graham was also there on standby, and thanks go to Audrey and Angela for keeping time and reminding performers to move on when necessary.

On stage we presented 3 acts as usual. Wally went on first with his act as known including a successful flag removal from under the stack of beer cans! Next was James Holdsworth who presented a series of effects including his raccoon routine, the snake basket and shooting a balloon with a banana! Finally, Richard Graham went on to perform John Archer's 'Collard' routine, cards across and a pom-pom stick presentation to rhyming patter. He also tried out his new sound effects system for the first time which caused a few problems, but Rick overcame them and finished in style.

Thanks again to all who took part in the show.
