2nd November - Annual Auction of Props and Effects

The November meeting will be the club’s annual auction of props, tricks, videos and books. All members are welcome to sell their unwanted goods at the auction, and this is always a well attended night which sees members and guests go home with a wide range of items bought for often ridiculously low prices.

So turn out your drawers and boxes! If you have any magical items that you don't use or don't need any more (maybe something you bough at a convention which just doesn't deliver what it promised?) then bring it along and our team of auctioneers will put it under the hammer for you. You can put reserve prices on items if you want to and we'll do our best to get a fair price for you. We often have a number of guests from other magical societies visiting too, so there's always someone who might want what you have for sale!      

The terms of the auction are simply that 10% of private sale receipts is donated to club funds. It would be helpful if you could list what you have for sale in advance of the evening and mark down any reserve prices as well - this helps things move along much more swiftly; and we often have a lot of items to get through! 

In the end, this is always a great evening which sees many happy customers go home with some new props to practice with.
